What we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.
Effective October 6, 2026. Apollo Coins ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use apollocoins.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Purchases made in person at our desk are also subject to Florida's record-keeping rules for precious-metals dealers.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to answer your request and prepare an offer.
- Your coin photos are analyzed and then discarded. We don't store them on our website.
- We never sell your information, and we don't put you on a mailing list.
- You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Information you give us
- Offer requests. When you use the "Get today's offer" form, we collect your name and phone number, and optionally your email address, how you'd like us to reach you, and anything you tell us about your coins or items.
- Photo appraisals. When you request a free photo report, we receive the photos you upload and any details you add, such as a description, weight or diameter.
Information collected automatically
- IP address. We use it to block spam and abuse and to limit the number of free photo reports per visitor each day.
- Security check. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is using our forms. It may process technical information about your browser and device to do this.
- Basic site statistics. Our hosting provider records anonymous, aggregate information such as page views and load times. We don't use advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request and prepare an offer for your items
- To create your preliminary photo report
- To send you a confirmation of your request by email, if you gave us your email address
- To keep our website safe, secure and free of spam
- To meet our legal obligations
Your coin photos
Photos are sent over an encrypted connection to an AI analysis provider, which uses them to prepare your report. We don't save your photos on our website, and the report isn't kept after you leave the page unless you copy it or ask us to follow up. Our provider handles this data under its commercial terms, which don't allow it to be used to train AI models.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and spam protection
- Anthropic: AI analysis of the photos you submit for a report
- Resend: delivering your request to our desk and your confirmation email to you
- Google: the map on our Visit section and the fonts used on our pages. Google may receive your IP address when these load.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid request from law enforcement, or to protect our customers, our business or the public.
How long we keep information
- Offer requests are kept for up to two years so we can follow up about your items. After that, they're deleted automatically.
- Daily abuse counters tied to your IP address expire automatically after two days.
- Photos are not stored on our website.
- Records of completed in-person purchases are kept for as long as Florida law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you,
- correct anything that's wrong, or
- delete your offer request.

Security
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), spam protection and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't include financial account numbers or other sensitive personal information in your messages.
Children
This website is not meant for anyone under 18. You must be 18 or older to sell to us, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
